ACCOMPLISHMENTS
(1997-2005)
The World Tribune was founded in 1997 by Fondation Geffrard Internationale (The Geffrard Foundation International). The foundation is over three centuries old. The World Tribune over the years has helped thousand and thousands of families in different cities around the world.
A few of our accomplishments are detailed as follows:
- The World Tribune’s Women’s Club
- We help some students to pursue their education in 2003 and 2004). Over one hundred student graduates with our support.
- We collected school supplies for Katrina’s victims in Louisiana (USA).
- We publish a free educational newspaper in different languages and in different world cities.
- We help some families with transportation by donating motor vehicles.
- We help some domestic violence families with counseling.
- We support some families with home furnishing.
- We help many business places (national and international) with free promotion.
- We give meals to those who are hungry.
- We help shelter those who are homeless.
- We help many people with legal matters.
- We will continue to defend and promote peace, morality, love and civilization.
